Review World of Coffee Jakarta

This year's edition was not only the second World of Coffee on Asian soil, but also a special event: for the first time, the trade fair took place in a coffee-producing country.

With over 270 million inhabitants, Indonesia is one of the most populous countries in the world and is therefore also an extremely exciting market for Thermoplan.

Just in time for the first day of the fair, our two Black&White4 Competizione machines were ready for operation and provided the first visitors with freshly brewed coffee. During the three intensive days of the trade fair, we welcomed numerous guests to our stand - many potential end customers, especially small and medium-sized coffee chains, who were specifically looking for innovative solutions for their business. Some of our distributors and service partners from the region also took the opportunity for a personal exchange.

A special highlight was once again Umpaul, 7-time World Latte Art Champion, who attracted a lot of attention with his artistic latte art portraits and inspired numerous trade fair visitors.

After a successful trade fair, we managed to dismantle the stand on time and hand it over to the haulier before midnight - a successful conclusion to an all-round strong event.

Next stop: Geneva!

The next World of Coffee is just around the corner - and this time it's a real home game for Thermoplan: From June 26 to 28, 2025 , the international coffee industry will gather in Geneva.

A special highlight: this year's World Latte Art Championship will also take place during the trade fair - and of course the world championship machine, our Black&White4 Competizione, will once again shine on the world stage.
