That was the WLAC 2025

What an event! The World Latte Art Championship 2025 was the big highlight of the World of Coffee in Geneva and Thermoplan was right in the middle of it. From 26 to 28 June, we welcomed around 10,000 visitors from all over the world. As the official machine partner, we provided the Black&White4 Competizione for all competition stations: Main Stage, Art Bar and Backstage. 37 of the best latte artists from all over the world showed their skills on our machines and competed for the world champion title with precision, creativity and impressive stage presence.

The three-day competition demanded everything from the participants: Technically identical free pour and designer lattes had to be created in several rounds, always under time pressure and the critical eye of the jury. The judging criteria included symmetry, contrast, originality and presentation.

The World Champion 2025 comes from China!
The title went to Chen Zhuohao from China - congratulations! His designs were not only technically convincing, but also artistically with exceptional perfection, artistic sensitivity and latte art that amazed the audience. A well-deserved victory, which was celebrated by the expert jury as the "new era of latte art".

There was also plenty going on away from the competition stage
The Thermoplan stand attracted visitors with a refined design inspired by Geneva landmarks and the opportunity to experience the world championship machine first-hand. The interest was huge! Many new contacts, exciting conversations and familiar faces made our stand a real attraction. Numerous visitors took the opportunity to test and network.

WLAC 2025 was a complete success for Thermoplan - as a machine partner to the international barista elite and as a meeting place for coffee professionals from all over the world.
