Host 2023 - Coffee, innovations and partnerships

It was a wonderful five days at Host in Milan! From October 13 to 17, we unveiled our latest products and innovations at our brand new booth.

Under the motto "New Innovations. Fresh design. Endless enthusiasm", we welcomed numerous visitors from all over the world for five days to present our Black&White4 family to them on site. The star of our trade fair appearance was the Black&White4 CTS. Its multifunctional steam lance caused a stir, with the AirSteam™ and AutoSteam functions particularly impressive. With the lance, our stand personnel conjured up delicious cappuccinos in no time at all - including latte art.

The PX module of the Black&White4 neo, which can be used to create excellent milk foam from milk powder, also attracted many visitors to the stand. Thermoplan's specially developed ThermoplanConnect telemetry system, in particular the new remote access option, also took center stage. The sales team gave a live demonstration of the numerous advantages of this system for the maintenance of Thermoplan fully automatic coffee machines.

However, we were not alone at the trade fair. We were accompanied by the startup Mikafi, with which Thermoplan has maintained a strong and close partnership since the beginning of 2022. Mikafi presented their groundbreaking roasting solution, which enables coffee roasting for cafés, restaurants and hotels without the need for specialist knowledge. Many of our guests enthusiastically grabbed their smartphones to take videos as coffee beans were roasted on site. The smell of freshly roasted coffee beans gave the stand a unique ambience.

An exciting and intense time has now come to an end. We can look back on a successful trade fair and are very satisfied with our appearance. Preparations will soon begin for the next host edition, which will take place from October 17 to 21, 2025. We are already looking forward to it - ciao e arrivederci!
