The thermoplan arena is officially open!

This past weekend, we celebrated a truly special milestone with the official inauguration of the thermoplan arena. As a proud partner of FC Luzern, it was a great pleasure to share this historic moment with our employees, their families and the FCL community.

The excitement was palpable long before kick-off. Guests enjoyed exclusive stadium tours, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the venue, while the Business Lounge provided the perfect setting to relax and enjoy lunch together.

One of the day's highlights was the official opening ceremony on the pitch – a memorable moment that marked the beginning of a new era. There was plenty of action on the field as well. The men's friendly match between FC Luzern and VV St. Truiden kicked off the sporting programme, followed by the popular 5vs100 Leuenbandi Challenge, which kept the atmosphere lively throughout the afternoon. The women's friendly between FC Luzern and SC Freiburg provided a fitting finale, before fans rounded off the day by meeting their favourite players during the autograph session.

For us, this day marked the beginning of a very special chapter. Over the next ten years, the thermoplan arena will proudly bear our name, symbolising our close connection with FC Luzern and the region. The thermoplan arena stands for passion, team spirit and strong partnerships – values that inspire us every day as a company based in the heart of Central Switzerland. It was a privilege to celebrate this special occasion together and to become part of a new chapter in FC Luzern's history.
