Sustainability Report 2025

Focus on the circular economy

We are pleased to present the Thermoplan Sustainability Report 2025! The year 2025 challenged many companies: US tariffs, geopolitical tensions, and noticeable market shifts shaped the landscape. Despite these headwinds, Thermoplan remained committed to its sustainability strategy – achieving tangible progress along the way.

At the heart of the report is the circular economy. Over 500 modules of the Black&White4 series were refurbished. In addition, over 100 Black&White3 machines – from the production line that was retired in February 2025 after 16 years – were returned, technically reconditioned, and successfully reintroduced to the market. This approach extends product lifecycles, reduces resource consumption, and strengthens supply security.

The report also highlights numerous other projects and achievements across Thermoplan’s three focus areas: People, Product, and Planet – from collaborations with (inter)national universities to the social initiative uniqueBean, and transparent insights into the emissions of our production and infrastructure in Weggis.
