2025 in a Nutshell
2025 was a year that challenged, moved, and simultaneously made us proud at Thermoplan. Between international trade shows, new projects, and strategic decisions, much was in motion. It was a demanding and at times turbulent year, shaped by global challenges such as US customs issues, which we successfully navigated thanks to teamwork, flexibility, and commitment.
The year began with significant changes: Saying goodbye to the Black&White3 marked the end of an era, while at the same time we looked firmly toward the future. Another milestone was the opening of our Coffee Academy to external participants, creating a space for knowledge exchange and a shared passion for coffee.
We also made a strong impression on international trade show stages in 2025. In addition to Internorga in Hamburg and other industry fairs, we showcased our expertise and innovation to a wide audience, both in Europe and the USA, where we attended NAFEM in Atlanta in February.
A particular highlight was once again the World Latte Art Championship, held in June in our home country, Switzerland, in Geneva. For the second time, we were proud to feature the Black&White4 Competizione as the official championship machine. The atmosphere, precision on stage, and the excitement of the community made this event truly unforgettable.
Much was happening beyond the trade show halls as well: During our second trip to Ethiopia for the uniqueBean project, we deepened our commitment to sustainable coffee cultivation. Additionally, the acquisition of Mikafi expanded our product portfolio and opened up new perspectives for the future. Another highlight was the announcement of the naming rights for the FC Luzern stadium starting in summer 2026: Thermoplan now stands not only for innovative coffee machines but also for community, local connections, and exciting partnerships.
The crowning moment of the year was HOST Milano in October, undoubtedly one of the highlights of 2025. There, we not only presented our proven solutions and innovations but also unveiled an entirely new product for the first time: our tea machine the long-awaited Black&White4 compact with the innovative 2-milk solution, fulfilling a feature that many of our customers had been requesting. The world’s most important industry trade fair provided the perfect stage, and the many inspiring conversations, the strong interest, and the positive response made HOST an unforgettable moment that underscored our international strength once again.
2025 was intense, educational, and full of valuable encounters. We sincerely thank all our employees, partners, and customers for their trust, support, and shared passion, which is demonstrated every single day.
We wish you happy holidays, a joyful start to the New Year, and look forward to achieving even greater things together in 2026.
Thank you for being part of the Thermoplan journey!
