New bean containers, more flexibility!

With the new Small and Medium bean hoppers, Thermoplan offers even greater flexibility for use with the Black&White4. The new models make it possible to optimally adjust the bean capacity to individual coffee consumption and the requirements of different establishments.

Not every location needs the capacity of a large bean hopper during peak hours. The smaller hoppers offer a practical solution, especially for establishments with lower throughput: refilling with fresh beans more regularly helps maintain high coffee quality and ensures consistent product quality.

The new bean hoppers optimize bean management while offering advantages in daily operations. Reduced mixing of older and freshly added beans can minimize calibration efforts and enable even more efficient use of the machine.

The right size for every business:

• Small (S): 0.5 kg bean capacity
• Medium (M): 1.0 kg bean capacity
• Large (L): ~ 1.7 kg bean capacity (standard size)

• Fresher beans: The smaller containers encourage more frequent refilling of beans and reduce the mixing of older beans with freshly added ones.
• Consistent coffee quality: Overfilling the bean hoppers is prevented, so fewer beans remain in the hopper for extended periods, ensuring that fresh beans are always present. This results in consistent coffee quality.
• Less waste: The smaller volume prevents overfilling and thus reduces unnecessary bean consumption.
• Closer connection between barista and guest: The Small and Medium bean hoppers are 40 mm deeper than the Large version. This facilitates eye contact between the barista and the guest and fosters a more personalized service experience.
• Optimized bean flow: Steeper inserts ensure an even flow of beans and prevent bean jams.

The Small and Medium bean hoppers are available as an option for the Black&White4 models. Retrofitting existing machines is also possible. Additionally, all versions are compatible with the Bean Detection feature and can be ordered with either a standard lid or a lockable lid.
