Smarter and faster: the next level of digital coffee technology

After its premiere at HOST Milano in October 2025, the time has officially come: ThermoplanConnect 2.0 is now available. The revised cloud platform takes digital fleet management to a new level and enables Thermoplan customers to manage their machine fleet digitally, analyze data in real time and make processes more efficient. Faster, more intuitive and smarter than the previous version, ThermoplanConnect 2.0. offers additional opportunities to visibly optimize their coffee business.

The modernized user interface and powerful remote functions enable centralized management of machines, content and updates, while AI-powered analytics provide insights into usage and bean requirements for the coming week.

The most important new features at a glance:

  • Content management: screensavers and slideshows for product promotions can now be managed on a time-controlled basis (daily, weekly, one-time), with a structured media library, preview function and automatic image scaling. Your coffee machine automatically becomes an advertising space and can boost sales.
  • Remote management: Software updates, backups and recipes can be rolled out simultaneously and from anywhere. At the same time, remote access enables service experts to analyze and resolve problems remotely.
  • Machine Insights: Detailed information on machines, products, events and error messages, supplemented by AI-supported forecasts on usage patterns and bean requirements for the next seven days.
  • Tenant and role-based user management: Assign individual machines to specific hierarchy levels and assign various user roles such as admin, service technician or manager. Major customers can also assign specific rights to their franchisees per region or country.
  • Help center, knowledge base and news area: Integrated directly on the platform for fast support and exchange.
  • Multilingual: Now available in 12 languages.

ThermoplanConnect 2.0 is aimed at all user groups: Major customers benefit from extended administration and service functions, while store managers, baristas and service technicians can access machine data directly. The focus is on larger chains such as convenience stores, coffee chains, petrol stations and quick service restaurants, but individual stores also benefit from the central functions to optimize operations and service.

The result: lower service costs, higher machine availability, more efficient processes and well-founded decisions based on real-time data.
