Technology & Design

Mikafi combines modern roasting technology with a compact design - in the smallest of spaces. With a capacity of 600g to 1.2 kg and a roasting time of 9 to 15 minutes per batch, Mikafi delivers consistently high-quality results with minimal emissions and low energy consumption. Including heating the roasting drum and cooling the roasted beans after the roasting process, two roasts per hour are possible with Mikafi. Simple operation via touch display directly on the machine and automatic bean cooling ensure efficiency in everyday use. The machine is mobile and low-emission thanks to the exhaust air filter, making it ideal for a wide variety of locations. Different roasting degrees can be individually adjusted and pre-configured roasting models make it easy to get started.

The design is robust, yet simple and timeless. Compact and reduced to the essentials, Mikafi can be seamlessly integrated into any location.

Mikafi Portal

Roast it, but in a smart way

The Mikafi portal gives you the freedom to control your roaster at any time and from anywhere. The cloud-based platform makes it possible to access all devices remotely and manage them efficiently - easily and regardless of location. Thanks to the location overview, you can see at a glance where your roasters are in use. Create your own roasting profiles, upload new recipes or adapt existing ones and sort them clearly by product, beverage or bean type. Detailed reports and automatic error messages guarantee precise control and minimal downtime. The portal also supports the direct ordering of various green beans via selected partners and suppliers.

Access to the Mikafi portal can be assigned individually, whereby various user roles, including barista or roasting specialist, can be selected.

Sustainability

Roasting made sustainable

Roasting coffee beans has never been so sustainable. With Mikafi, you roast without gas. The fully electric operation results in significantly fewer direct emissions. The integrated exhaust air system filters smoke and odors efficiently, making Mikafi easy to operate even in smaller rooms. We are also working on a digital Green Bean Library in collaboration with various partners. This ensures the availability of and access to sustainably grown green coffee and makes your entire value chain even more transparent.
