Milestones

The need for an additional production and administration building for Thermoplan had existed for some time. After the one-year planning phase and some official clarifications, the Weggis population was able to vote on the new building on 13 June 2021. Only six months later, the groundbreaking ceremony took place on the former site of Plant 1. Little by little, the floor plate was finalised, and the facade was raised. After various raw installations, the interior work followed by the installation of the logistics and conveyor technology will be completed within the new building unique which will be opened in June 2024.
