Each year, the world’s best latte artists compete in the World Latte Art Championship – a contest where creativity, precision, and repeatability take center stage. Across three demanding rounds, participants must flawlessly recreate intricate designs using free-pour or etching techniques. Only those who consistently perform at the highest level make it to the grand finale – and have a shot at claiming the title of World Latte Art Champion.

The competition is organized by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), the world’s leading network for coffee professionals, with a clear mission: to promote coffee quality, foster connections, and elevate standards across the industry. In 2024, a new chapter began –for the first time ever, a fully automatic coffee machine, the Black&White4 Competizione, was named the official machine of the World Latte Art Championship.
