Maple cinnamon latte

Soothing autumnal coffee enjoyment

The leaves are beginning to change color and the days are getting shorter. Autumn is slowly but surely approaching. But don't worry, this coffee recipe will brighten up your day.

The Maple cinnamon latte is the perfect coffee drink to enjoy the fall. With a book in your hand or at work, it always fits the bill.

Preparation time: 5 min.

What you need:

  • 60 ml hot espresso (dark roast with chocolate notes, e.g. from Asia, finely ground)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 pinches of ground cinnamon
  • 170 ml of your preferred milk (frothed)
  • 1 cinnamon stick for decoration

Preparation:

  1. Mix the maple syrup, vanilla extract and ground cinnamon with the espresso
  2. Froth the milk, pour it into a tall glass and leave it to stand for a moment
  3. Pour the espresso mix into the milk foam
  4. Decorate your Maple Cinnamon Latte with some ground cinnamon or a cinnamon stick

Tip: The latte tastes even creamier with a little whipped cream
