Apple Pie Latte

Warm apple pie meets coffee

The ultimate winter treat for anyone who loves the comforting flavors of apple pie with a cozy coffee twist.

For the apple pie syrup you will need:

  • 500 g apples (peeled and sliced)
  • 100 g brown sugar (for caramelizing)
  • 250 g brown sugar
  • 500 ml water
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Peel and slice the apples, then caramelize with 100 g brown sugar for about 3 minutes. In a separate pan, bring 250 g brown sugar and 200 ml water to the boil until the sugar dissolves. Add the caramelized apples, vanilla and cinnamon and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain the apples and pour the syrup into a sterilized bottle.

For the apple pie latte:

  • 15 ml homemade apple pie syrup
  • 100 ml milk of your choice
  • 1 shot of espresso
  • A pinch of cinnamon sugar (for the topping)

Add the apple pie syrup to the milk of your choice. Add the espresso and top with a pinch of cinnamon sugar to round off the apple pie perfectly.
